New Pattern by Ann's Paper Art



During November Ann's Paper Art released this beautiful new Christmas pattern a696.
Christmas in Australia is usually very hot, especially where I live in Queensland.
I would love to have a white Christmas and you never know maybe one day we might.

Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0853, 1913, 5934.
The dies are by Marianne Design CR1288 & CR1287.
I added Aleene's snow to the dies and around the card.
Starform peel off stickers and hobbydots have also been added.

New Pattern by Ann's Paper Art



Last month Ann's Paper Art released a new pattern a697.
You can also buy the pattern as a set with decoupage and pattern.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0622, 1913, 5833.
I was given a beautiful die by a friend and it fits perfectly in this card.
The die is Precious Marieke "Charming XMAS" PM10037.
I added Alenne's snow and hobbydots.
Little Snowflakes embossing folder by Nellie Snellen EEB014.

It is hard to believe that today is the 1st of December,
 this year has flown by so very quickly.

Birthday Card


Last month was my husband's birthday and this is the card that I created for him
The pattern is by Ann's Paper Art  the pattern number is a049x_b.
"Best Wishes" die is by Sue Wilson and is available from Ann's Paper Art  
Threads are Mettler Polysheen  1913, 3953, 3971.
Silver peel off sticker by Starform.

This die is very handy to have in your kit as it can be used on many 
different occasions.

Christmas Card


A Christmas card created with a pattern by Ann's Paper Art, the pattern is a379.
I have combined the pattern with Sue Wilson, Madison Square CED4104.
The die comes with 4 dies in the packet and can be used in many ways.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0821, 1902, 5833.
To create the bow I used Precious Marieke "Glamorous Christmas"die. 
I added a pearl in the centre of the bow.
The card is very quick and easy to stitch and assemble, yet stunning!!!

Friendship Card


My September friendship card was created for Petra
The pattern is from 3D Stitching Sheet book #13 the pattern number is a062 
and is available from Ann's Paper Art webshop.

I used Marianne Design LR0343 to die cut the topper.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 3853 and 3971.
The flowers are Memory Box Fabulous Phlox 98511 and Gloriosa Vine 98453.
Backing paper is by Pion.
I added Tim Holtz "Weathered Wood", hobbydots and pearls to the card.

Friendship Card


This month my friendship card was created for Lucy.
it was lovely to run the die through my bigshot and not prick
 a card as I was running short on time....Perfect!!!!

Threads are Mettler Polysheen 2764, 5552.
I used Nellie Snellen, Vintasia VIND001 behind the stitched rose.
I cut the Joy! 6002/0366 twice and then joined them together.
I am very happy with the effect that it created.
Beautiful patterned card is by Maja Design, called 
Sofiero, "Enjoying the lovely fragrance"
Pearls have also been added.

I enjoyed creating this friendship card for Lucy, it is lovely to
 combine new products with older ones!

Christmas Card


Now is the time to start creating your Christmas Cards.
This is a beautiful quick card for those of you that don't have time to stitch a lot.

Threads are by Mettler Polysheen 0853, 0934,1913.
The star die is by Marianne Design  LR0369.
The beautiful sepia topper is also by Marianne Design CT1502.
There are 7 different toppers in the package, 3 of each.
I added Tim Holtz "Brushed Corduroy" to the star.

Friendship Card


This month my friendship card was created for Geesje, who lives in The Netherlands.
The pattern is by Ann's Paper Art number a300.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen, 0853, 0945, 5833.
The dies on the card are by Presious Marieke PM10002, PM10005.
Along the side of the card I added a die by Marianne Design LR0201.
Flowers are Joy! crafts 6002/0182.
Birds are from decoupage sheet Marieke 2732
Tim Holtz Distress ink "Fired Brick" and "Walnut Stain"
Hobbydots and butterflies have also been added.

I had loads of fun creating this card for Geesje

Birthday Card


Last month was Mark's birthday and this is the card that I created for him!
The pattern is a250 which is available from Ann's Paper Art webshop.
There are 2 patterns on the sheet I have combined them.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0832, 1514, 3853.
I used a image from one of the lovely Art Pads by Lili of the Valley.
The background paper is also from Lili of the Valley called Country Gent.
Spellbinder Boardabilities S5-181 makes a lovely edge along the bottom of the card.
Ribbon, Stickers and Hobbydots have also been added.

It is very cold at the moment in Queensland the chill is coming up from the Antarctica.
 I will be pleased to see the end of the cold wind.
Although it is a good reason to stay inside and craft.....lol.......

Exquisite Ladies


This is the first Lady from the new set of  "Exquisite Ladies" by Ann's Paper Art.
The pattern is a738 which is now available from the webshop
I have stitched the lady with Mettler Polysheen 0945 & 2101.
The die along the edges is by Marianne Design LR0202,
 I used distress ink along the embossing.
Hobbydots #17 and stickers have also been added.
I am looking forward to stitching the next pattern which is now available at 
Ann's Paper Art webshop, pattern number is a739.

Stitch 'n' Scrap Christmas Cards

I have made a start on my Christmas cards as I don't want to be running late with them this year.
The cards below have all been stitched using some the patterns from Hobbydol 35 
called Stitch 'n' Scrap Christmas Cards by Ann's Paper Art
All the cards below have been combined with Nellie Snellen MFD075 
and made into scrap cards.


Every-one decorates their Christmas tree with baubles so why not decorate a Christmas card!
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0824, 3971, 3853.
Scrap card by Maja Design "Vintage Frost Basic, 11 of December"
Stickers, hobbydots and distress ink have been added.


The beautiful Christmas tree has been stitched with
Mettler Polysheen 0824, 1902, 5822, 5933.
Scrap card by HOTP "Mixing Christmas Papers" 
Ribbon, pearls and distress ink have also been added.


The traditional Christmas bells have been stitched with 
Mettler Polysheen 0822, 0824, 5555, 5933.
Scrap card by Anna Griffin & HOTP "Mixing Christmas Papers"
Pearls, sticker and distress ink have also been added.

Birthday Card


Wow it is hard to believe that today is the last day of Autumn and 
tomorrow is our first day of Winter. 
Boy the year is flying away so very fast.

A hobby friend is having a birthday very soon and I decided to create a card with the 
new Stitch a Card #819, I combined it with a decoupage from the
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 1332, 1551, 3652, 3711.
Leanne Creatief corners compliment the card.
Stickers and pearls have also been added.

I am going to start on my Christmas cards early this year so I won't be running late.

Birthday Card


A beautiful birthday card created with one of my favourite patterns by Ann's Paper Art.
Ann created this pattern especially for the Nellie Snellen Stain Glass Die SGD001.
The pattern and die combined with the beautiful  3d Embroidery Sheet #10 called Camilla  are available from Ann's Paper Art as a complete set.

Background paper is from Lili of the Valley called "Promises"
Pearls and Hobbydots have also been added.

Friendship Card


This month my friendship card was created for Katrin, she lives in Germany.
I decided to use my stitching stencil by Ann's Paper ArtAND002 what a wonderful way to create a quick card as all I needed to do was run it through my big shot!
 don't worry it will go through all machines.
I decided on a blue and pink theme for my card this month.....lol....
Threads are Mettler Polysheen, 1761, 3853, 3951, 6133.
The flowers are Tim Holtz "Tattered Flower Garland" this die set has a few different styles of flowers  and leaves on it which come in all different sizes, 
it is worth buying if you find one.
The flowers are coloured with "Tattered Rose" distress ink.
 I added some glitter around the edge.
The Hummingbird is by Cheery Lynn, I added "Frayed Burlap"distress ink on the beak..
The butterfly is from my stash.
Pearls and Cosmic Shimmer "Vanilla" have also been added to the card.
Background card is by Lili of the Valley paper pad called "Bear Necessities".

I really did have a lot of fun creating this beautiful card and I hope that you also like it.

Birthday Card


This week was our daughters birthday and this is the card that I created for her.
The pattern is from a Hobbdol booklet #68 by Chissie called 
"Chrissie meets Forever Friends".
Threads are Mettler Polysheen, 0504, 3650, 3853, 3951.
The large cupcake is by Tattered Lace, 
I die cut the gold bow and ribbon again and adhered it cupcake.
Behind the cupcake I used a ribbon die by Marianne Design LR0101.
Along the bottom I added hearts with the help of Spellbinders "Mix & Match" E8-002.
Distress ink, beads, pearls and ribbon have also been added.

I enjoyed creating this card for our daughters special day.

Birthday Card


Last week it was Petra's birthday and this is the card that I created especially for her.
The pattern is by Ann's Paper Art pattern a653 I only stitched 
a small portion of the pattern.
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 1114, 2830, 3331, 5833.
I decided to use my new Marianne Design LR0344 die along the top of the card,
which I coloured with Tim Holtz distress ink "Chipped Sapphire".
The background paper is by Joy!
Pearls and stickers have also been added.

I  enjoyed creating this card and I do hope that Petra had a wonderful birthday.

Friendship Card



A beautiful card created with Stitch a Card a491 combined with 
Threads are Mettler Polysheen 0700, 2721, 2905, 5833.
I used Marianne Design "Silver Collection" CR1262 behind the decoupage
and added Tim Holtz "Frayed Burlap"and some pearls to give it a aged looked.
Along the edge of the card I have added a beautiful die by Joy! 6002/0100.
It is a older die yet one that I think that every-one should have
 in their collection of dies.
I added Tim Holtz "Dusty Concord"and some pearls to the Joy! die.

I do enjoy creating cards with the Stitch a Card- pre pricked toppers
They are especially great for those people that don't have the time to prick a card.
